This project explores tradition and its mutability. I explored the ritual of bhootakola through the eyes of various actors involved, using ML as a tool and medium.
Key features from images of the deity were identified by practitioners, archivists and other members involved in the practice and preservation of the tradition. These features were then extracted and extended to the rest of the image of the deity. The results are presented below.
